Last Minute Groundhog's Day Craft

I'm one of those homeschool moms, who loves to make all I can of every little holiday, but forgets to check the calendar ahead of time, and so has to rush to throw everything together last minute.

This is generally what happens to me every year for Groundhog's Day.

So then, it's DLTK-Kids to the rescue!

  1. A quick visit to their website to print a groundhog template.

  2. A little bit of scissor work for the kids.

  3. Throw in a glue stick and a toilet paper roll...

...and voila!

We have our very own groundhog, ready to be set out in the snow come tomorrow morning, to cast a shadow, or not.

It's great to be a homeschooler.

Super cute! Just featured this! {I love how you can put the groundhog outside to see if he makes a shadow!}
