Late to the Party!

Ultimate Blog Party 2010

I'm arriving I'm late to the party, but hi!

Since this is supposed to be an introduction of myself, and this blog to hopefully, like minded, fellow bloggers, I'll just dive right in.

I'm a Christian homeschool mom of 6, ages 3-12, living in small town Montana, and my name is Leah aka An Almost Unschooling Mom.

Between the children and myself (the man of the house prefers to stay out of the blog world, as much as possible), we have a number of varying interests. But, on this blog you will find our favorite books, links, reviews, science projects, and sweets - we all love to bake and candy make, as well as a few knit, and crochet patterns, thrown in for good measure - or whatever else happens to be striking our fancy, that seems bloggable. Oh, and don't worry, the picture of me above, is one of the few of my face you'll see here. The camera and I are not on friendly terms.

I hope you take a look around, and enjoy what you find. I'm a typical blogger, in that I looooooove to get peppy, happy little comments, so please - comment away! And, while your checking out things here, I'm off to check out some of your blogs (I'll get to all of them eventually I'm sure, just not all in one day - who knew there would be so many mom bloggers at one party!?!).

Okay, and wow! There really are a lot of prizes at this party. I'm actually a little overwhelmed. So, I'll just mention one I wouldn't mind winning, though in reality, I'd love to win any of them.

But for the sake of sharing the love I'll mention the USC 25 - the $25 Barnes and Noble gift card provided by Baba's Farm Life.

It's great to be a (blogging) homeschooler!

We're unschoolers and we LOVE IT! I think that it's kind of an under represented group in the home school community, but we're definitely a fun group =)

I hope you have a great time during the UBP-if you get a chance, I love to have you over at my place for a visit!

loved your blog, had a great time visiting. The pictures on your walk made me feel like I was there. I live in the City but a few times a year we go out to a small town in San Diego that we love. Good luck at UBP.

Hi Leah, I'm another Christian, almost unschooler! My husband and I homeschool our three children and have for 11 years now. Love it and wouldn't have it any other way! I hope you can stop by my own UBP party. I have a weekly Field Trip Friday meme. Maybe you'd want to link up one of your road trips? Will enjoy following your adventures! Blessings!:)

Thanks for stopping by from the UBP! I am one of the other Leahs. :-)

I am a "want to be unschooler." We are moving further and further away from "real school" in our homeschooling journey.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog for the UBP. I am very sorry about vising your blog so late - but I have enjoyed reading your blog a bit and finding out more about you. Looks like you really do some great things as a homeschooling family! Very cool projects you have done. I will be coming back for more great ideas. I am not a homeschooler - yet... maybe some day.
