Food for Earth Day Thought

There's a proverb that says - "The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward, and questions him." Or, in other words, it's always good to hear both sides of a story, before you decide who is right.

With that in mind, and because Earth Day is this week, making it a good time to stop, and consider what sort of a job we're doing taking care of our planet, I'd challenge you to go, and watch an Answers in Genesis, video on demand, called Global Warming: A Scientific and Biblical Expose of Climate Change (you can find it by clicking - here).

Most of us have heard the theory, that excess carbon emissions are causing global warming (did you know it was only a theory?). This video presents an alternate, scientific theory for the causes of climate change, without denying their existence. It's sort of a rebuttal to Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, and if nothing else, it makes for some interesting food for Earth Day thought.

It's great to be a homeschooler.

Thank you for sharing! I've always said that while we haven't helped our planet, we are not the only reason for Global warming. History definately supports this!

I am DEFINITELY incorporating this clip into our lessons for "Earth Day!"

I believe God gave us a responsibility to take care of his creation, but some of this "Going Green" propaganda is "Going OVERBOARD" in my humble opinion.

So going to go watch this, there is a big difference between caring for our planet and worshipping it.

Ticia - Yes! My husband was worried after the Earth Day cookies we made, people might think we were Earth worshipers - so I thought this would be a good link to share :)
