I was very excited to learn about the L.M. Montgomery Reading Challenge over at Reading to Know, thanks so much to Annette, at Live, Learn, Love for posting about it.
I spent my high school years at a small, private, Christian, boarding school in Saskatchewan. Like every other girl in the school, I was absolutely in love with Anne of Green Gables. Of course, I'm referring to the the made for T.V. movie version - one of Canada's proudest achievements, and so much better than dill pickle potato chips!
However, despite my love of the film, and it's later sequels, and despite the fact, that somewhere in the girls' room is a boxed set of the Anne of Green Gables series, I have never actually read any of L.M. Montgomery's books. In fact, until I read the Live, Learn, Love post, about the Reading to Know challenge, I had really never given even a single thought as to the author of the series. So, I heartily accept the L.M. Montgomery Reading Challenge, and look forward to learning about the author, and her books.
It's great to be a homeschooler.

Oh HURRAY! =D I'm so glad that you are going to join in. I laughed over your description of the movie and chips. ha! =)
I, too, am a former home schooler, btw. Both my husband and I were home schooled growing up and plan on doing the same with our kids. So it's nice to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you a bit through this challenge!
Yea!!! I'm so glad you are finally going to read your books! They may be children's books, but they are awesome for all!
Honestly I haven't read them either. I think because all the girls I knew who liked it were the annoying "girly-girls," who I didn't like. Now Louisa May Alcott, her I've read lots of, and love.
I have an award for you at my blog
