Simple Summer - Bubbles on a Board
Here's a simple summer boredom buster, or maybe that should be board-om buster, because this one actually uses a board, or porch railing, or outdoor stair step, or whatever flat, fairly even surface, and preferably painted or treated surface you have, that can be be drizzled with a thin covering of bubble soap.
Spread the soap around, so it covers the entire surface somewhat evenly, and challenge your children to see how many bubbles they can blow...
...or gather onto the board, before they begin to pop.
It's one of those challenging and mesmerizing activities that can eat up an hour before you even realize time is passing. Great for a long, lazy, summer afternoon.
It's great to be a homeschooler.

"Board"-em buster! Bahahahaha!!!
Ha ha ha ha, board-em buster........
That of course assumes they haven't already used up/spilled the bubble solution :)
Bubbles can easily eat up an hour here, especially bubble competitions. Interesting idea to capture them on the board!
