We decided to beat the heat with a water balloon activity from Ziggity Zoom. The only things we did differently was to skip the string and tie our balloons straight onto the hangers on our swing set...
...and to give ours a red, white and maple leaf make-over for Canada Day.
We couldn't find our red Sharpie, so we had to settle for a less than permanent, washable marker, maple leaf. But, we tried. Considering the fact, that we're not even Canadian, that should count for something - right?
It's great to be a homeschooler on either side of the border.
