Since we're working through Christmas legends this week, we marked the day with a Santa themed breakfast. I cut one of our pancakes into wedges, to dress up with strawberry jam, whipped cream, and mini chocolate chips.
Then, I moved the television into the kitchen, for a Veggie Tales' history lesson.
It's great to be a homeschooler.

We are going to watch this today too! This Santa looks good to eat!
I'll have to make that Santa pancake here! Very cute.
My oldest used to love Veggie Tales when he was little, but my younger two don't like them for some reason. I think the movies are great. I'll have to try again.
We've already watched that one 3 times this year.
Love the Santas.
Happy St. Nick day to you all! Cute pancakes!
I wanted to make Santa pancakes, but Selena got up with the stomach flu. She doesn't care for Veggie Tales. She never has liked any of their toons or movies. Maybe that is why she doesn't eat vegetables, she got scared from watching talking vegetables.
Love the pancake Santa. My daughter likes that Veggie Tales movie.
LOL he is the cutest little pancake santa!!
So funny, we just made pancakes today too and I was going to post it tomorrow! I need tp get that dvd!
Wow. I didn't even know it was St. Nicholas Day. How do you do it all? Really, I'd like to know!! I LOVE your blog!
Livin' the Yeh Life - If you Google for holidays (like December holidays, January holiday) you get a nice list of all the serious, and many silly holidays coming up. I forget most of them, but try to pick out a few to have fun with each month.
