Homeschooling the Teen Years - Trust the Process

T (age 21) had a half dozen haiku to write, this weekend, for one of his college classes.  I was worried.

"Do you know how to write a haiku?"

"Of course I do," he snorted. "Do you think you taught me nothing, woman?"

I glanced at his sister across the room.

"VeggieTales?"

She shook her head thoughtfully, "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

Naturally.

It's great to be a homeschooler.

Love! It amazes me what my kids know and where they picked it up.
