Orange Slice Butterflies

Because, it can't always be cookies. Mind you, we did use chocolate sprinkles for the eyes.

They are both sweet, but I really like the fruit butterflies.

Both snacks look great. The past two years I have made a butterfly cake to celebrate our butterflies taking flight after we observed them. I'll have to try these snacks this year.

I love the fruit butterflies. They look so tasty, now Selena would opt for the cookies.

Thank you for sharing this idea. I ran across your post through a google image search and we made the fruit butterflies as part of our South Carolina unit study. :)

They were just placed onto the plates, so the fruit could be picked up and eaten without any fuss.
