Fill small latex balloons (not water balloons) with water, keeping them fairly light. Leave enough room to allow for a large tail on the tie of the balloon.
Tie the long tail through, and around the center string of a wiffle-ball, or badminton racquet - preferably an old racquet that isn't too precious (ours came out unscathed, but you never know).
Find out how many times you can bop the balloon...
...before it bursts, or even better...
...springs a leak, and splatters water everywhere with each bounce.
We managed a hundred bops on one balloon, and only three on another. The key is to have lots of extra balloons filled, tied, and standing by to try again and again.

Marvelous! You must store away these ideas all year long!

Love these creative ideas you come up with!
Way too fun. I suppose we can try to bounce the balloons without tying them to the racket...
Looks like fun. We used to try Volleyball.
