On a rainy, autumn afternoon, with the help of a cozy fire...
...gingersnaps, pumpkin marshmallows, and a few mini chocolate bars...
...combined together into fall perfection.
Okay, to be honest, the pumpkin marshmallows were a little strange, and maybe too spicy to go with the gingersnaps, but the children liked them, and the s'mores smelled like Thanksgiving and Christmas combined - so near perfection, anyway.
These look delish! I'm not sure we would be able to get pumpkin flavoured marshmallows over here though. I love the idea of melting them in our wood burning stove.
ReplyDeleteI really shouldn't read your blog when I'm hungry.
ReplyDeleteI tried those pumpkin marshmallows last year and was disappointed. I usually love any kind of marshmallow...
ReplyDeleteMy gosh. So simple. So elegant. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm back... I wanted to tell you that I couldn't get this out of my brain, so I made some myself, making the marshmallows and gingersnaps from scratch. Took it to our Thanksgiving dinner, and everyone agreed they were INCREDIBLE. I blogged about it, if you want to check it out but won't link here because that's super spammy. :D
ReplyDeleteI imagine homemade marshmallows and fingernails would take these to next level!
