Pile up small stones to resemble a house...
...and your children will come...
...most likely with Lego men in hand...
...and all kinds of ideas for improvements, such as dismantling the house to paint the rocks with sidewalk chalk.
When they survey the pile of painted rocks, they will probably ask for help rebuilding the house...
...maybe in the garden this time.
The Lego men will then feel under-dressed, and need a new accessory...
...or two. I suggest mint leaf fairy wings, held on with sticky tape...
...and flower blossom hats.
We love fairy gardening!
ReplyDeletePrecious!
ReplyDeleteI love your little Lego fairies :)
ReplyDeleteI find this really interesting. So you plant an activity and then wait for their interest and imagination to take the activity where ever they want it to go?
ReplyDeleteI think my guys would like this type of strewing
Oh, I LOVE this idea! What a fun way to spend the afternoon!
ReplyDeleteI showed your flower fairies to Firecracker. He smiled and said, "No!" Lol. They are so very that cute though :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the stone house! That is so cool!
ReplyDeleteLove! We made nomad dwellings at the beginning of the year & they stayed up for months in our creek bed before the weather got to them.
ReplyDeleteSigh, limestone just doesn't have the same results when you're building with them. So many more sharp edges.
