Thanks so much to Meg of Mega Crafty for the idea of these super fun, white chocolate doily pops, and to Rachel of One Pretty Thing for linking them. They were surprisingly easy to make, and my children loved them!
If you didn't see them at either of the sites listed above, then pop on over, and take a look. The ones at Mega Crafty were crafted with a good deal of care, and are beautiful. I was going more for speed than overall style, so mine are kind of sloppy. I didn't figure they'd stick around long enough to be overly evaluated.
It was a half an hour from this...
...to this.
I only had enough white chocolate chips left to make 4 heart pops (about 1/3 a bag), so I made a couple out of regular, semi-sweet chocolate chips.
The white chocolate sets up better at room temperature, than the semi-sweet. I ended up popping those hearts into the freezer for a few minutes, before serving them. But, the children appreciated having a selection.
It's great to be a homeschooler.
I love this idea. They look great! They wouldn't last long here either.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. They look hard to make.
ReplyDeletePhyllis - They really were amazingly easy.
