T was instantly inspired to bake a batch of cupcakes...
...while E and C (my youngest two) got to work on a construction paper cupcake craft, with paper confetti sprinkles.
They made six of them, to use as place mats, and scattered the extra confetti down the center of the table...
...while G and E (the older girls) blew up balloons.
Because chances are, if you give your children a batch cupcakes,
they'll want a party to go with it.
It's great to be a homeschooler.
I love the idea of the placemats. What a great project.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you are able to get so many activities going to keep everyone busy and happy!
ReplyDeleteYour oldest is quite a marvel in the kitchen. It looks like you are always ready to party in the house, and those placemats turned out very nice!
ReplyDeleteParty hardy!
ReplyDeleteGreat book and activity. I love Laura Numeroff! Looks like a fun and yummy time!
ReplyDeleteYou must exercise so much with all the cooking going on there..... But then, you are also chasing after 6 kids, so that will leave you busy all by itself.
ReplyDeleteOh! How lovely! A cupcake party with EVERYTHING needed. And I LOVE the sound of that book, our ever expanding library will need more expanding! We are always making muffins for the neighbours....
ReplyDeleteWe haven't read the kitten one yet. What a fun "party"!

ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to stART!
A book inspired party...I love it! This is one of my daughter's favorite book, but unfortunately this is the only one in the series that she has read so far so I don't know yet how the cat will stack up next to the competition.
