We like to celebrate the Canadian Thanksgiving Day by gathering together to watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and then partaking of our own Peanuts style feast.
On the menu for today:
- Popcorn
- Pretzel Sticks
- Buttered Toast
- Jelly Beans
- And, a Nondescript Parfait Desert
Once the feast has begun, I usually supplement it with some "real" food, like apples, and sandwiches.
It's a tradition we've been enjoying for years, and one the children really look forward to.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends, and family!
It's great to be a homeschooler.
