It made me respect their size - they are HUGE. How fun that you can see them so easily.Natalie PlanetSmartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03531558038661679151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-65423002197809421642010-11-08T16:09:14.958-08:002010-11-08T16:09:14.958-08:00We have a lot of wild turkeys in our neighborhood....We have a lot of wild turkeys in our neighborhood. It was super cool. Unfortunately, the same group attacked one of our neighbors when he was out trying to get his mail and the city took matters into their own hands. No more turkeys.

You should buy your kids some turkey calling devices. I rolled down my window and "gobbled" at them- and they gobble back! We did this for a series of three times, kinda like we were having a conversation. it very much amused the kiddos and I. Then, they must have been offended by what I said, because they slowly strutted away...I just LOVE turkeys!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00081982605206256145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-8031495209907916652010-11-07T06:32:22.987-08:002010-11-07T06:32:22.987-08:00Hey those look like the turkeys that disappeared f...Hey those look like the turkeys that disappeared from our farm when we lived in Elk WA! Moose have been the trickiest - but we generally see at least one each summer - and we haven't deliberately gone looking for bears, wolves, or mountain lions - so I'm not sure about them - but enough people around seem to spot them, that I imagine we could too, if we had a desire to see them.An Almost Unschooling Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784076035361200243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-25758849964204920422010-11-07T05:21:25.129-08:002010-11-07T05:21:25.129-08:00How cool to see wild turkeys!
