When I was a teenager, it was a romance, and now I'm an adult, it's simply one of the classics. It's great how the story grows up with you, wherever you are in life, you can identify with it and take something different away. That's one of the reason why I love it so much.Katie Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12844778170761632779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-52788206219618791642010-02-01T11:24:12.237-08:002010-02-01T11:24:12.237-08:00I enjoyed this review! I didn't discover Anne until after the first movie came out on PBS when I was in my 20s or so, but read through the whole series immediately after. It's been fun revisiting them.Barbara H.http://barbarah.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-14859592277476209912010-01-15T13:59:00.862-08:002010-01-15T13:59:00.862-08:00Given my present weepiness I probably should not t...Given my present weepiness I probably should not try reading these right now. I just had to skip whole chapters of Little Women to avoid just outright sobbing through the entire chapter. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get another chance to read it later, when I'm not so prone to cry at the drop of a hat.Ticiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17970101432834731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-9392434028429586042010-01-15T12:09:57.450-08:002010-01-15T12:09:57.450-08:00I just love the Anne series. I can hardly wait until my kids are a bit bigger and I can read it out loud to them.Ice Cream Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13631217352495104006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-64776009816532015882010-01-14T20:04:16.675-08:002010-01-14T20:04:16.675-08:00=D Thanks for leaving your link! I think everytime I read it I cry harder - even though I know what's coming!

Yup, you get another chance at the locket. But you can also go here (without ANY reading obligations) and leave a comment to win a locket:

http://www.5minutesformom.com/14844/clue-of-the-broken-locket/

(Contest for that one ends on Sunday so there's not much time left.)

So glad you are reading Anne! I'm so eager to read through the series again as it has been awhile for me. I just keep getting sidetracked!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08772667430500306088noreply@blogger.com
