You are a true scientist at heart, thrilled by a good find :) I would be shocked to see hail here, but I think it actually happened once or twice.Natalie PlanetSmartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03531558038661679151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-11812813740620218712010-08-07T18:02:56.638-07:002010-08-07T18:02:56.638-07:00I was telling my children about hail the other day...I was telling my children about hail the other day because they were freezing water in balloons and making large iceballs, then throwing them from the 3rd story of our house. I haven't seen hail since I was a little girl, in Africa... they can get very big and dangerous.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12637731468344732953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-18739341367052183152010-08-07T08:43:27.487-07:002010-08-07T08:43:27.487-07:00Christy - He was fine, though a little excited. Luckily, he'd been near an overhang when it started, and it didn't last long - but he had one ricochet off of a car, right passed his head, that freaked him out a little. An Almost Unschooling Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784076035361200243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-31851086171303388482010-08-07T08:24:01.281-07:002010-08-07T08:24:01.281-07:00That is so cool. We'll have to try again next time. Then we had a fine layer of hail all across my yard, and all the spring vegetables I had just planted were pretty much ruined.Ticiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17970101432834731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-34545438364826535802010-08-07T07:33:56.049-07:002010-08-07T07:33:56.049-07:00Wow, that is so interesting! Not at all like what you describe. I knew, of course, that different areas of the US have different climates, but for hail to be different in different areas is new concept to me!Phyllishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09217282962233011656noreply@blogger.com
