I love homemade applesauce, all though admittedly we don't add sweetener to ours and eat it warm in the winter. ;) We use to use a mill when I was a child, but now we just use a stick blender right in the pan on the stovetop! :DKendrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14152881812204023673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-29210047061341603752011-09-07T19:08:02.150-07:002011-09-07T19:08:02.150-07:00My kids go back and forth on applesauce, but they ...My kids go back and forth on applesauce, but they almost always will eat the homemade kind.

We tried to make them using a potato masher according to one suggestion and that lasted all of 1 minute, if that.Ticiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17970101432834731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-69326992392569621832011-09-07T09:08:04.298-07:002011-09-07T09:08:04.298-07:00Glad you got so many apples off your tree. Little jealous of the apples we saw falling off of trees on our way home from Wallowa Lake. We'll probably buy (again) our apples at the farmer's market for .40lb. Hopefully we'll can LOTS of apple- sauce, tastes so good during the winter.Marceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12855799171612264803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-42387046099744471272011-09-07T08:36:08.213-07:002011-09-07T08:36:08.213-07:00Great activity!Great activity!phasejumperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04388936418114041511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598841562237715955.post-41718223184051918952011-09-07T08:10:25.097-07:002011-09-07T08:10:25.097-07:00Nothing I love better then homemade applesauce.
